Kirkconnel Activity and Resource Centre

Kirkconnel ARC provides a varied programme of activities for adults with disabilities and complex needs. We provide a friendly and caring environment to our service users to develop their skills, to be as independent as possible and interact with friends.

Referrals to use our services must be through Social Work but we are always happy to meet with adults and carers who want to know more about what we do.

Our skilled and experienced staff team will work with you, your family to put together your personal support plan to help you achieve your goals and outcomes. The support plan will be reviewed on a six monthly basis to ensure it meets all goals, outcomes and requirements. We will support you to develop life skills, build relationships with other people which will enable you to take part in your local community.

We support family or carers, by providing information and signpost to a range of services which can offer guidance and practical support.

Inspections

The Care Inspectorate regulates and inspects care services in Scotland to make sure that they meet the right standards. Inspections are carried out on a regular basis and the reports are published with the results.
