Dumfries Activity and Resource Centre
Dumfries ARC provides support, activities and personal development opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism disorders and brain injuries.
We also work with schools and Social Work services to support school leavers to make the transition to the service. Referrals to this service are via Social Work.
Our skilled and experienced staff team will work with you, your family to put together your personal support plan to help you achieve your goals and outcomes. We will support you to develop life skills, build relationships with other people which will enable you to take part in your local community.
We support family or carers, by providing information and signpost to a range of services which can offer guidance and practical support. We provide a range of activities at specific times of the year.
Inspections
The Care Inspectorate regulates and inspects care services in Scotland to make sure that they meet the right standards. Inspections are carried out on a regular basis and the reports are published with the results.
