Annan Activity and Resource Centre
Annan ARC provides a varied programme of activities for adults with disabilities and complex needs. We provide a friendly and caring environment to our service users to develop their skills, to be as independent as possible and interact with friends.
Referrals to use our services must be through Social Work but we are always happy to meet with adults and carers who want to know more about what we do.
A flexible, personalised induction takes place for new services users, with carers and/or school support. We also support our service users with their personal care, if needed, and we have regular input from physiotherapy and speech and language specialists.
The centre has a fully equipped sensory room for our services users with complex needs who need physiotherapy and provides a relaxing and calming environment.
Inspections
The Care Inspectorate regulates and inspects care services in Scotland to make sure that they meet the right standards. Inspections are carried out on a regular basis and the reports are published with the results.
