Dumfries and Galloway Council provides a range of Free Period Products for collection at public venues and community organisations across our region.

Get Free Period Products at Public Venues
You can collect period products from public venues including Customer Service Centres and Leisure Centres across the whole of Dumfries & Galloway. You can take what you need, when you need it and you can also pick up period products up for your family or friends.
Most public venues will have a range of single use pads and tampons, and may have other products, such as panty liners. The products will normally be available in the toilets of the building and signs will be displayed all through each venue to guide you to the toilets where the products will be ready for collection at all time.

Free period products are also available to all pupils in all Primary and Secondary Schools and Education Facilities and within Youth Centres within our Region.
Get Free Period Products Delivered
For residents who live in very rural areas, free period products can be posted to your home address but you need to contact us to discuss this.

The Scottish Government, working with Hey Girls, have produced an app called PickUpMyPeriod, so anyone can find free products in Scotland. The app is available for download on Android and Apple devices.
