Private Landlords Expressions of Interest
Our Housing Options and Homeless Service are currently looking for expressions of interest from private landlords for properties for use as Temporary Accommodation for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
The accommodation units must be self-contained and within Dumfries or Stranraer.
Properties must have a current Energy Performance Certificate band D or above, meet the new Fire Alarm, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide regulations and have up to date electrical/gas safety certificates.
Any registered Private Sector Landlord who has suitable furnished properties within Dumfries or Stranraer, can register their interest via the following email address: Jane.Ross@dumgal.gov.uk or contact Jane Ross 01387 260754.
Payment for the properties would be paid quarterly in advance at the appropriate Local Housing Allowance Rate.
