Reserve items from the library
You can reserve items that we hold for free if they aren't available to borrow. We can also request items from other libraries.
There are a two ways to reserve items. You can:
You need your library membership card when reserving items. You'll also need a PIN code (usually your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format) to reserve items online.
We'll contact you to let you know when the items you've reserved are available.
Costs
There is no charge for reserving items.
Some items won't be available to reserve from us for various reasons. We're part of an inter-library loan scheme and can request most titles from other libraries across the UK. It costs £8.70 to use this service, full time students will pay £5.80.
