Recent releases
The next Annandale North Elected Member Ward Forum will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 14 May 2013 at Lochmaben Community Centre.
The purpose of a Ward Forum is to enable all residents or representatives of community groups to exchange views and information with their Elected Members in an informal manner and to allow Elected Members to respond to questions on local issues.
All residents or representatives of groups from Annandale North which includes Moffat, Lockerbie and surrounding areas are invited to attend to raise issues with their four ward members: Councillors Peter Diggle, Gail Macgregor, Graeme Tait and Stephen Thompson.
Councillor Stephen Thompson said, “It's a good way of getting things done without having to sit through a boring meeting.”
Issues covered at meetings in the past include Local Development Plan, Shop, town centre regeneration and play park equipment
