Primary school Tag Rugby in Wigtownshire

There was a lot of skill shown on Wednesday 6 November as over 200 pupils took part in the primary school Tag Rugby festival, which was held at London Road Playing field, Stranraer.
This event was open to all local primary schools. A total of 21 teams competed in group stages followed by semi and final matches. The boys and girls competing were from P5-P7.
Wigtownshire Rugby Club kindly allowed use of their pitches for the games. For the teams waiting for their matches, the Rugby Club ran fun skill stations.
The event was supported by Wigtownshire Rugby Club and Stranraer Academy sports leaders.
The results for each race were as follows:
3rd Place Leswalt A
2nd Place Park B
1st Glenluce A
The winners will progress to the Active Games Finals next year in Dumfries
