Funding applications to Area Committees and Sports Councils welcomed for 2014/2015

Dumfries and Galloway Council invites funding applications from voluntary/community organisations to Area Committees and Sports Councils. Applications will be considered for projects or activities that fit closely with the criteria set by the local Area Committees (Annandale & Eskdale; Nithsdale; Stewartry and Wigtown). All awards must be spent within the financial year. If your project or activity covers more than one area of the region you can apply to the relevant Area Committee(s).
Applications must be submitted on or before 5pm on Friday 6 December 2013 for consideration in March/April 2014. If funds remain after this, applications will continue to be accepted.
Sports funding applications for 2014/15 may be submitted from March 2014 onwards. There are no deadlines and applications are considered each month.
Successful funding awards will be paid from April 2014 onwards.
Application forms, guidance and further information will be available from 1 October 2013 from www.dumgal.gov.uk/grants, e-mail EFU@dumgal.gov.uk or phone the External Funding Unit on 01387 273897.
