Recent releases
Agnew Park Stranraer will be the venue for a ‘Big Lunch’ event on 7 August from 11.45am to 3pm hosted by our Council Services including Leisure and Sport, Arts, Community Learning and Development and Active Schools in association with YPlay. The emergency services will also be on hand with some interesting demonstrations.
The Big Lunch will be the launch pad for the activities programme in the run up to the Commonwealth Games in 2014. The day will give many community groups the opportunity to get together (over a picnic lunch in the park) to exchange ideas, information etc and then to take part in the various activities.
This Big Lunch event coincides with Play Day.
