Voting deadlines

• The deadline for registration is midnight Monday 18 April.
• The deadline for Postal Vote Applications is 5pm Tuesday 19 April
• The deadline for Proxy Vote Applications is 5pm Tuesday 26 April
• Polling Stations are open from 7am to 10pm

Please pay particular attention to your poll card when it arrives, to ensure you know where to vote.

This needs to be completed and returned to us at Electoral Registration  Officer, Municipal Chambers, Buccleuch Street, Dumfries DG1 2AD by 5pm on Tuesday 19 April 2022.

Register to vote

To vote in this election, you must be registered to vote. Registered voters will be sent a poll card telling them where and when to vote. For more information about how to register for the election please visit our registering to vote page.
