Internet and computer access in libraries

You can use our computers and surf the web for free with full or temporary membership. Children and teenagers need permission from an adult.

Visit or phone one of our local libraries  to book a session.

You need your library membership card when booking a computer. You'll also need your PIN code (usually your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format) to book online.

An adult has to complete a permission form for members under 16 years old who want to use the computers.

Equipment

All of our computers have Microsoft Office software, Photoshop Elements, Internet Explorer and scanners.

Printing facilities are also available for a small charge. Printing prices for the period 2019/20 are:

  • Computer print A4 black and white - 20p
  • Computer print A4 colour - 90p
  • Computer print A3 black and white - 50p
  • Computer print A3 colour - £1.30

Bring your own device

You can use our free WiFi to access the web on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. It's not possible to connect to our printers using the WiFi network though.
