Grants are available to support individuals and clubs from Dumfries and Galloway who are taking part in sport.
Funding is usually limited to a maximum of £500 towards no more than 50% of the costs. Awards of up to £1,000 may be granted in exceptional circumstances.

Individuals and clubs who meet the criteria for their local area can apply.

You must be a member of your local sports council to apply if you live in the Stewartry or Wigtownshire and they will decide on whether funding is provided. Applications for funding can't be processed until your membership has been approved. Local councillors make decisions in Annandale and Eskdale and Nithsdale.

Grant applications are considered each month.
We might contact you for further information about your application as we're processing and assessing it. We will be able to complete the process more quickly if you respond as soon as possible.
Acceptable applications will be passed to the awarding body for consideration and they'll contact you with their decision.
