Boundaries Scotland is consulting on new constituency boundaries for the Scottish Parliament.

Boundaries Scotland has today published its revised proposals for the new constituency boundaries for the Scottish Parliament.

Boundaries Scotland published its Revised Proposals for Scottish Parliament constituencies on Tuesday 16 April 2024.

For Dumfries and Galloway there is no change to our 2 constituencies:

Dumfriesshire - Wards 7 to 12

Galloway and West Dumfries - Wards 1 to 6

Revised Proposals

Publication of the Revised Proposals is followed by a consultation period of one month lasting until 15 May 2024, during which comments concerning the proposals are invited.

Maps of the revised proposals and further information can be downloaded from the links below. Further information regarding the review will be published on Boundaries Scotland.

Comments on the Revised Proposals can be made on the Boundaries Scotland consultation site, where you can view the boundaries of the revised proposals and compare them with the existing constituency boundaries, see Consult Boundaries .

Comments can also be made by email to boundaries.scot@scottishboundaries.gov.uk, or by writing to Boundaries Scotland, Thistle House, 91 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD. 

All comments should be submitted no later than 15 May 2024 which is the end of the statutory consultation period.
