Permission for demonstrations, marches and parades
You need permission to hold a public demonstration, march or parade.
We authorise public demonstrations, marches and parades in Dumfries and Galloway. We work closely with Police Scotland to ensure that these events are organised in a safe manner and cause minimal disruption or inconvenience.

Apply for a licence
You must give us notice at least 28 days before you intend to hold your procession.
