Licences and permits
During COVID-19 we are changing the way our Licensing service works.
Licensed Premises: Scottish Government easing of restrictions in relation to both internal and external outside drinking
From 6 July 2020 onwards the Scottish Government permits the operation of outside drinking areas. Likewise, the indicative date for the internal opening of licensed premises is 15 July 2020. Prospective applicants and current premises/occasional licence holders should ensure that they are fully aware of the terms of all the Scottish Government Guidance pertaining to the opening of licensed premises generally. Furthermore, applicants for occasional licences to operate outside drinking areas should be aware of the documents that require to be submitted alongside occasional licence applications.
