Exam results advice
Pupils across Scotland are due to receive their exam results on Tuesday 8 August 2023.
If you have signed up and activated your personal account with the SQA, you can choose to receive your results by text and/or email via the MySQA website.
If you need help to understand your choices, we've listed a number of ways you can access support and advice.
Dumfries and Galloway SQA Results Day
Hundreds of young people across Dumfries and Galloway received results for their Nationals, Highers, Advanced Highers, National Progression Awards, Skills for Work Awards, National Certificates and Awards.
Overall, this year at National 3 and 4 levels, there has been a slight improvement in the numbers of passes. At National 5 level it is encouraging to note that results are now broadly in-line with pre-Covid levels. At Higher level, whilst recovery is continuing, results are still showing a level of impact from the pandemic mitigations on teaching and learning, with results for 5+ Highers slightly down on last year's results by 1.21% and by 1.25 % on pre-Covid results.
Congratulations to all the young people across Dumfries & Galloway for their hard work and success in their SQA examinations.
