Urr Navigation Markers

Mariners are advised that the lateral channel markers deployed by the River Urr Navigation Trust, at the entrance to the Kippford channel, are no longer owned or maintained by any party.  As such, the buoys are not to be relied upon as a navigational aid when operating in the channel.

Please Note: Dumfries and Galloway Council has no responsibility for the ownership or maintenance of any marker buoys deployed in the Kippford channel area, and issue this notice purely to assist in maintaining navigational safety.
