Book bags and Storysacks

Nurseries, playgroups and childminders for under 5s can borrow bags and sacks containing books, CDs, posters and characters to encourage reading.

You can borrow a book bag or a Storysack free of charge for up to a month.

Book bags

Book bags contain story books, posters, CDs, novelty and information books.

Titles include:

Each Storysack is based around a picture book with props and characters to make story telling fun. Some have CDs to sing along to. There's also a non-fiction book, a guide and a game.

Contact us for a full list of titles and to request a book bag or story sack.

Schools don't need to register and will get their bags delivered. Other providers will need to set up a group library membership and can collect their bags from their local library.
