Residents parking permits
We operate residents parking schemes in parts of Dumfries, Stranraer and Langholm. Disc parking restrictions don't apply if you have a permit.
Residents parking permits valid for one year are issued free of charge.
Residents with a disabled parking permit (Blue Badge) can display this instead.
Eligibility
You must live in the areas shown on our parking zone maps:

Apply
You'll need to provide:
- a copy of your driving licence
- a copy of your vehicle registration document V5C or insurance certificate
- proof of address
