The Council's Armed Forces Champion Archie Dryburgh said: "As we commemorate the centenary of Royal British Legion Scotland it's heart-warming to see how much our local war memorials are cherished and respected by their communities. Every name on our war memorials is a person who left their loved ones behind and sacrificed their life in a conflict. I'm very pleased that our Communities committee has made this funding available to ensure that our war memorials can continue to be kept in first class condition."
