Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs)
MSPs are members of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. They deal with matters such as agriculture, ecomonic development, education, health, housing, law and order, sport and the arts, tourism and transport.
2 constituency MSPs represent our region:
- Dumfriesshire - Oliver Mundell MSP (Scottish Conservative and Unionist)
- Galloway and West Dumfries - Finlay Carson MSP (Scottish Conservative and Unionist)
We are also represented by 7 regional MSPs from the South Scotland region:
