Regulations define 're-use' as the use by a person of a document held by a public sector body for a purpose other than the initial purpose for which that document was produced.
Policy advice on the re-use of public sector information, best practice and the complaints process under the Regulations can be found on the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) website.
Applications under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005 for the re-use of information held by the Council will be processed by the Council's Freedom of Information Officer. Decisions regarding the licensing of information for re-use will be made by the designated officer responsible for the release of information following consultation with Services as appropriate.
