Young Person

If you're worried or scared, speak to an adult you trust. If there's no-one you feel you can talk to, talk to us.

CPC - Young girl It is everyone's responsibility to protect children and young people.

All adults have a responsibility to protect children, including:

  • Your parents and carers
  • Family members and Friends
  • Neighbours
  • Professionals (eg. teachers, doctors, nurses, social workers and police officers)
  • Members of the public

If you are worried about the way an adult is treating you make sure that you speak to someone you trust. Try to choose a time when they can listen properly to what you want to talk about. If they don't hear you the first time keep trying and don't give up until you have sorted things out
