Sport at every level depends on well trained coaches, officials and volunteers. We can help if you want to start a coaching career or improve your coaching.
Coach Connect workshops
Club or local authority coaches who are keen to develop further can take part in Coach Connect programme delivered by sportscotland.
The programme is open to anyone who's qualified to UKCC level 2 (and equivalent qualifications) or working towards this with a minimum of 2 years' experience leading the delivery of sessions.

Annan Swimming Pool
Every candidate attending a NPLQ course must be 16 years old at the time of taking the final assessment and be able to:
- jump / dive into deep water
- swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water
- tread water for 30 seconds
- surface dive to the floor of the pool
- climb out unaided without ladder / steps and where the pool design permits
