The Lockerbie Trust provides financial assistance to individuals, groups, clubs and societies whose aims are charitable and in the interest of the community of Lockerbie.
Each application is looked at individually and on its own merits but must benefit and be in the interest of the community of Lockerbie.
Awards can be granted to aid community projects, events and activities. This could include:
- help with running costs
- the hire of premises
- purchase of equipment
The trust normally holds meetings in February, July, September and December of each year. Applications must be submitted 6 weeks before a quarterly meeting.
Quotations or estimates are required if an application for over £5,000 is being made. These should be submitted along with the application form.
You must make it clear on your application if a project can't proceed without this funding.
Applicants will be informed of the decision in writing following the relevant quarterly trust meeting. Payments will be made to successful applicants by cheque.
