Visitor parking in Dumfries, Langholm and Stranraer
Visitors can park for free in restricted parking zones for a limited period by displaying a clock disc permit.
Permits are available from local shops, our customer service centres and tourist information centres.
When you park you must select your arrival time on the disc.
The maximum stay in each disc zone is marked on signs in the street or car park where you're park.
Local residents
If you live in a disc zone you can apply for a resident parking permit instead of using disc permits.
